Students in Katie Webber's 3120W class is working in small groups to choose a service project with the larger goal of supporting a local business, community, or cause. They are tasked with setting a goal, creating a timeline to meet that goal, and coming up with the actual solutions to support their chosen group. According to Katie, "These solutions are not hypothetical, and they actually complete the task and hopefully provide service in some way to the organizations or communities they are serving" while putting into practice what they've learned about small group communication theories.
