About

Brett Williams is a seasoned media professional with a diverse background. He made his mark at WVYC 88.1 FM as both a host and as the station’s Program Director. Over time, he ascended to the role of Student General Manager.

Post-college, Brett transitioned to the Sinclair Broadcast Group, where he started as an Inventory Specialist and later advanced to the Advertising Support Operations Assistant Manager role. He then gained experience in the field of TV advertising as an Assistant Media Buyer at Cadent.

Brett is a member of Lambda Pi Eta and has a keen interest in researching the effects of social media and computer-mediated communication on interpersonal relationships, generational disparities among users, and the intricate connections between social interactions, cognition, and emotions.
