About
Mikala Kane is a second-year, part-time master’s student studying marketing communication. She currently works as the Director of Communications & Digital Strategy for UConn’s Neag School of Education. Prior to joining the Neag School, she was the publicity/marketing coordinator for the UConn School of Nursing and, before that, spent several years working in journalism, holding various editing roles at The Hartford Courant in Connecticut and at The Post-Star in upstate New York.
