About

Zienab Shoieb is a PhD student and graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Communication at UConn. In addition to her teaching experience at both the undergraduate and secondary levels, she has professional experience in strategic management, marketing, and career development. Her interests include media effects, gender and race representations in the media, the reflections of societal ideals and values in the media, and how media influences construction of identity.
